Men From Maine Are Not Going to be Happy About This One. . .

The future is looking grim for all responsible, law-abiding gun owners. Today, Obama released his plan for an attempt to restrain the "epidemic" of gun violence in this country.

Fine. That is completely fine - maintaining our safety as a nation is one of the corner stones on which we were built.

But this is not an epidemic. This is not a matter of gun control laws. This is a matter of social paradigm in which we have created villains out of citizens, and we have polarized gun owners and non-gun owners so far as to alienate them. This is completely a matter of social standpoint and it all stems from the Judicial System and our law enforcement policies and practices.

conservativedailynews.com updated 2012. Sure, this is from a biased website. Because you would NEVER find anything that showed this real information on a liberally-biased website. So by default, this is from CDN.com.

But that doesn't matter. Just check it out. Both types of gun violence clock in at the very bottom of the chart. Epidemic? I think not.

That being said, I am not denying that it IS an issue. It's a very personal issue for me and many others. I want to stop the crazies from getting their hands on weapons. At the end of the day, shouldn't that be everybody's intention? To keep weapons away from dangerous people. Not to keep dangerous things away from responsible, law abiding people? Consider this...

Flashback to the Aurora movie theater shooting crisis that took place this past summer. A man, now supposed to be "mentally ill" walks into a movie theater and shoots up a room full of innocent movie go-ers. This was tragic and unnecessary. The immediate reaction from many Americans was "WHY IS ANYONE ALLOWED TO HAVE A GUN EVER UNLESS THEY ARE IN THE MILITARY?!?"
They were missing this vital piece of information.
That movie theater was a gun-free zone. Therefore showing that:
- This asshat was just crazy. He obviously did not care whether he was allowed to have a gun or not.
- Since it was a gun-free zone, nobody - not even a licensed gun carrier - had any means of protecting themselves.

Did we ever consider that if guns were allowed, and responsible Americans with a license to carry could have been armed on the scene of the crime, somebody could have prevented this from happening? Or at least diminished the damage that this crazy mental criminal created?

When someone is licensed to carry, it is for their own personal protection. If a man walks into a movie theater and tries to shoot at you, and you are a licensed carrier, you are COMPLETELY within your rights to shoot back. In fact, it's kind of a responsibility since you have the ability to protect those around you from an impending danger.

But sadly, there was no possibility for protection. Responsible gun owners could have have their guns, numerous helpless people were injured and killed, and all chaos was due to one man who wouldn't give a shit about any gun law.

The bottom line is - guns are for protection or hunting. They aren't for crazies and they aren't for killers. By restricting automatic weapons and limiting magazines to a round of 10 at a time, the only thing that is being stopped is the American Way. The only ends that this achieves is limiting the rights of the American people that are CLEARLY outlined in the Bill of Rights.

I'm sorry, I thought the Constitution was supposed to be the law of the land? Or was that cancelled....

The way to suppress this so-called outbreak of gun violence is not to take away the Constitutional right to bear arms by undermining Congress with the Presidential Power of Persuasion. It is to take both the more logical and Constitutional route by STOPPING THE PERPETRATORS AT THE SOURCE.

I do agree with Obama that tightening up background checks is a great way to help ensure the legitimacy of gun ownership. If a person is rightfully licensed and has no reason to not be able to get a gun, then they will not mind a thorough background check. Nothing to hide, no shame, in the clear. Right?

But we can't just stop there. We must, as per usual, be wicked extreme and put a ban on assault rifles, and then limit the number of bullets that can be in a magazine. This is useless. USELESS I SAY.

Someone who is going to commit a lethal crime using a gun will not give two hoots about whether it is legal or not to:
A. own the gun
B. touch the gun
C. have a certain number of bullets in the magazine
D. obtain an assault rifle
E. steal the gun
F. kill someone to then steal their gun
G. kill more people
H. any other number of possibilities

To put this in context, trying to stop a killer from killing by banning guns is like trying to stop a crackhead from doing crack by making it illegal. Which is already is. And millions of people still do it.

So look how that worked out?

Anyone who is going to willingly find a weapon and then commit a crime with it will not abide by laws. This is a fact. This is just THE PLAIN DAMN TRUTH.

So why can we Americans not get this through our thick skulls? It's human. There's good guys and bad guys. When we get a trace on bad guys who have previously committed crimes, we are fully within our rights to stop them before they have the chance to strike again. Actually, we would be putting our fellow citizens in danger if we did NOT stop them.

And here en-lies the problem. We have to stop playing the mental illness card as an excuse to let people out of jail. As a nation, we consistently let people out of jail who have committed serious crimes and we KNOW they are dangerous!

But due to things like bribery, laziness on behalf of the lawyers, and certain states eliminating the death penalty, more loose-cannon killers are walking free than I bet you would care to know.

How about this? 90% of all state prisoners are repeat offenders. 70% of the crime in America is committed by 6% of our criminals.
WHAT?
That makes you feel reassured, doesn't it? So, my friends. I've said this a thousand times and now a thousand-and-one - It's not a matter of stopping the availability of guns. It is a matter of stopping dangerous people who are already on the radar. As of 2006, over there are over 1 million inmates in America who are mentally ill. Pleading insanity should no longer be an option in court case. If somebody is insane, that makes them a danger to society. The main job of our government is to ensure our safety, which we as a country so often forget. Therefor, they should lock these insane people away. There should be no second chance.

In modern times where lethal incidents can happen instantaneously, there is no room left for benefit of the doubt, especially when dealing with people who are diagnosed as mentally ill or unstable. The majority, if not all, of these terrifying murder incidents that took place over the past year were perpetrated by a mentally ill person. And so, the trend is not due to lackadaisical gun laws. It is due to a lackadaisical law enforcement system and a society that is too softy-touchy-feely and so full of pansies so that NOBODY seems to have the gall to say
"Hey, this person is unstable and therefore a threat to society. Lock him away" or
"They committed murder, sentence them to death" or
"You're offering 1 billion dollars to not go to jail after raping and killing someone? Whatever, I don't want the money. You're going to jail."

Jeez. I feel like we will never learn. We're sliding backwards and REPEATEDLY shooting ourselves in the foot, quite literally. It's all due to three things.
1. Fear
2. Political Correctness
3. Irresponsibility

We have gone to far to the left on the gun control issue that some hole-in-the-wall newspaper actually put hundreds of families in danger with this one, dumbass article. Honestly! This shit blows my mind. This newspaper, The Journal News out of New York, created an interactive database map of the names and addresses of all licensed gun carriers and gun owners in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam. This means that the names and addresses of 16,000 people who are rightfully allowed to carry concealed weapons are now floating around for everyone to see. This totally goes against American Constitutional Law, not to mention endangers everyone.

The gun-fearing liberals just fucked themselves because now they have reveals which houses ARE NOT protected by guns. Congrats, you just invited a criminal to your house for a break-in. Kudos.

Additionally, the gun-owners are now alienated and viewed as one giant stereotypical heap of killers when really, they are completely legal and harmless.

The reason people get licenses to carry concealed weapons is so that they can carry a concealed weapon. CONCEALED. NOT SLUNG ACROSS THEIR BACKS. THEY ARE CONCEALED FOR A REASON. TO PROTECT AGAINST PEOPLE WHO TRY TO ASSAULT THEM. God, why can't anyone understand that?!?

Bottom line. LET THE CARRIERS CARRY. CONVICT THE GUILTY. AND LEAVE EVERYONE BE TO THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

Rant = over. Except it will never really be over.

This Election Business. . .

Well, I'm not going to lie.
I am thoroughly pissed off.

Not to mention, November 7th was my birthday, so waking up to Obama becoming president for another four painstaking years really pissed on my parade, to say the least.

I am a teenager who cannot vote yet, obviously. But let me dispell this right now. If you are a kid who thinks "I don't need to care. No one our age actually understand politics and we don't even pay taxes. So none of us should bother" you are dead wrong. How do you expect to understand the nation, the economy and make informed decisions as an 18 year old when you never gave a shit about it up until your 18th birthday?
Regardless of your political affiliation, it is REALLY important for teenagers to start forming ideas and opinions, doing research on BOTH SIDES to make a rational decision, and learn how to defend your own point of views while still being open to other ideas.

We as a generation have a huge responsibility. Our economy as it stands is in the crapper. It just is. And the democrats and republicans have landlocked themselves into a stalemate because of these reasons.
1) Democrats are too extreme, and the goals that they are trying to achieve are downright unrealistic and counterproductive.
2) Republicans are being painted as the spawn of Satan because most people affiliate the entire platform with the Tea Party --- THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT.
3) Moderates and independents are scared away from Republicans because of their affiliation with the Tea Party.
4) Extreme Republicans have become strikingly unwilling to change their pro-life, religious craziness and are not willing to meet in the middle with anyone.
5) Democrats have become ironically intolerable of compromising with Republicans.

The more issues escalate, the more each side gets pushed away from each other. It's like the repellent side of the magnet. They seem to just never connect. UNLESS - we flip the magnets around.

The media had a goddamn field day with this election, and I am overwrought with shame because of it. The media, whether it is logical or not, is the biggest influence in an election like this. Almost every single ad that I ever saw was riddled with lies or straight up mudslinging.

WELL, maybe instead of telling us about all the taxes Mitt Romney "didn't pay" and how Obama smokes weed, and how Charlie Bass is a criminal, and how Annie Kuster goes around dropping the F bomb, why doesn't a candidate try telling us what they ARE going to do for a change.

Here's how it is, like it or not.

~ Democrats succeeded in painting Romney as some psycho religious guy who was evil and woman hating right out the gate! (granted, mentioning "binders of women" didn't help to dispell this rumor).

~ Mitt Romney's public speaking skills left much to be desired compare to those of President Obama.

~ Obama is already viewed as a pop-culture icon, a celebrity. That gave him an upper hand.

~ Mitt flipped around. A lot. His final 5 point plan was solid and made TONS OF SENSE, but he should have consolidated it about 8 months prior.

~ Republicans generally suck at dispelling rumors, meanwhile democrats rock at mudslinging. Case and point. Romney had to deflect more bullets than he had a chance to fire.

There are a million other factors that were prevalent in this election. But did anyone else but me notice that Obama hardly said shit about what he was planning on doing in the next 4 year? He only spoke on behalf the scarce amount of change he succeeded in implementing since 2008? Essentially: his slogan for 2012?

I didn't get everything done that I told you... no... I PROMISED you that I would, but if you give me four more years, I'm sure I can get it done.

And somehow, America bought it. My theory (and you can call this ALL bullshit if you want - what do I care? Romney lost anyway) is that the young voters now adays were raised in a society where conservatives are ALWAYS viewed as the bad guy. It has been this way since the 1920's. But this time, it was on an extreme level. If it were up to young voters and they could elect Jay-Z as the president, they would. It's all about fame, image and media coverage. As the generations progress, we are being exponentially poisoned with misleading ads and one-sided marketing.

What teenager doesn't love free speech, equality and democracy? Sounds good, right?
lol YEAH.

The problem is that in the big picture, it's not going to help you at all unless you take the Libertarian approach. PERSONALLY, I believe that Ron Paul was BY FAR the best choice this year. Straight and narrow with the Constitution. We all keep our noses out of each others business, and more importantly our hands out of each other's wallets.

But apparently, the rest of American didn't feel the same way. So the wire came down to Mitt Romney and President Obama.

I do not understand the appeal of letting the government take your money, and distribute it other places that in turn benefit somebody else who is not putting nearly as much effort into life as you are. I'm not generalizing - I am fully aware that there are many, MANY hard working American's who still struggle to make ends meet. There are millions of them. So.....

that's why Obama won. He is offering a way out. Why would you struggle your ass off year-to-year to make 40,000 when you could just declare unemployment and rake in that same amount without lifting a finger?

There goes your potential retirement money, your college savings, that new macbook you wanted. It's going to the dude down the street who graduated from Jack Daniel's and is currently employed by the sidewalk pavement. There you go.

Us kids love the idea of making the rich pay a little more - what do they need it for, anyway? Most millionaires make their money through investments, anyway. They didn't even work for it.

Yeah? That's why we made America. So that the hard working person will prosper, utilizing their skills, wit, and enthusiasm. If somebody makes serious bank from investments, clearly they are a skilled investor. So they deserve every penny. They pay their capital gains tax and it is theirs to keep. The dude down the street has no right to that money - he didn't take the risk to invest his own money.

If you support Obama, I doubt you have even read this far. But if for some reason you DID, thank you for being somewhat bipartisan and JUST HEAR ME OUT. . .

If you support Ron Paul, my heart goes out to you. America would have been kick ass. BUT whatever.....

If you were supporting Romney, I'm sorry for the loss and I feel you. I think he would have been able to turn this dump around. But now we will never know and all we can do is HOPE that President Obama gets his shit together, stops covering things up and starts to make some real progress in this country. Why? Because in 2016, you and I are going to be voting. We are going to be picking up this economic shamble and we will be getting hosed with taxes to repay our black hole of debt. Most likely, social security will be dried up by the time we need it, so we better start working our asses off now. Keep in mind.

In 2016, this country needs to elect a moderate republican.

I'll say that again. In 2016, this country needs to elect a moderate republican.
The most neutral republican we can find. We, as an extremely liberal generation in the whole, need to STOP BEING AFRAID OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. If we can find a republican candidate who is pro-choice, is neutral in terms of religion and willing to work and REALLY WORK with democrats (who also need to be neutral) then I have faith that we as a generation can succeed! This candidate will need to be personable and appeal to people. Although realistic and logical, Republicans often struggle with being likable (lol). If we do not reform our thinking, we will continue to perpetually weaken our country and ultimately dig our own graves. Sick. So, what will it be? One day, one of us could be the super-hero politician that this country needs.

That's my two cents - and the government will not be taking those away.

Sincerely, your Libertarian friend.

PS. President Obama could potentially be impeached for witholding information and lying about Benghazi. Solid choice America.

My Feet Are Cold and I'm Not Even Getting Married

Whazzzup inter-NET!!!!!!! Damn, my eyes hurt. I've been lookin at this screen all day (which is really nobodys fault but my own.)

Recently I've found myself talking like Eric Cartman all the time and I physicaly cannot stop. Problems much? Yeah.

SKEWL IS STARTINGGGGGGGGGGG OMG> Most kids are like DAMN SCHOOL! But I'm all like......... school! I'm not that bitch that loves school, but I do enjoy it and honestly, I would rather be in school than not be in school. LOVE SUMMER A LOT but I wouldn't want to be on vacation all the time. My life is just infinitely better when it is going at 1200 mph and I never have time to stop. In the summer I actually feel like the biggest clusterfuck of nothing. I don't do anything. WHAT IS MY LIFE.

Although I went to register at my beloved high school today, and it just reminded me how much I dislike most of the population of our school. There has been an influx of that 70's mindset of "peace and love" within the past decade, and I am here to tell you that is crap. Physically impossible for you to love every single person. And I know as well as the next guy that you have that next door neighbor who mows the lawn with no shirt on and always parks his damn Prius out where everyone can see and you can't stand him. Don't try to hide it. It is natural to dislike people - so why do we have such a hard time admitting it?

PONDER THIS >>> I feel like in society today, people feel as though they need to treat everyone the same way - either for fear of being called out for being an asshole if they speak their mind, OR because there is a notion that everybody has to be loved. Kids have such a hard time telling another kid that they like them. Romantically, friendship wise, whatever. I'm guilty of it too, I mean, you don't want anyone to judge you and most of all, we are afraid of hearing "no" or "Well, I don't like you." The truth of the matter is, even if the other person doesn't verbalize that they don't like you, they still don't like you. And you can't do anything about that. It's the same coming the other way - even if you dont' tell people that cha CAN'T STAND THEM, you still can't stand them. So it's better to just clear the air, mostly when you are forced to work with those people and say "look, we aren't best friends and I am not really fond of you, but I respect you and we will make the best of it."

Moral for today, kiddies: Love who you love, like who you like, hate who you hate, but respect everybody............ except those who don't deserve it.

Brizz = OUT!

Just Some Real Quick Updates - REAL Damn Quick

Now that I got my little rant out in the previous post, here's just some real damn quick updates about shit I care about that you probably don't. WELP. HERE IT GOEZ ANYWAY.

Forever the Sickest Kids just began their One Direction Tour. Contrary to popular belief, no - they are not touring with One Direction. Tricksters, they're trying to deceive you. Regardless of the misleading tour name, they are playing in Boston at Brighton Music Hall on August 17th. BE THERE OF BE SQUARE. Or don't be there. That's fine too, I guess...

LINKIN PARK AND INCUBUS. ON TOUR TOGETHER. HONDA CIVIC TOUR CIRCA 2012. It's probably going to be the most epic Honda Civic Tour yet. This will be my third year attending (they've all kicked ass, BTWS). In 2012, Paramore was headlining with New Found Glory and Relient K. And LAST YEAR, Blink-182 shared the stage with My Chemical Romance and the Manchester Orchestra. Despite their semi-gay sounding name, Manchester Orchestra rocks harder than most of the bands you've probably heard.

SIDE NOTE: I wasn't aware of this, but Blink fans have a deeply-rooted hatred for MCR fans and that was VERY EVIDENT within the crowd.

Linkin Park and Incubus touring together is like the best thing since sliced bread. My dream come true. I'm pretty damn stoked, so I'll be attending the Comcast Center venue in Mansfield, Massachusetts. August 14th.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Also, I saw Social Distortion a while back in November with my bro, Brackett. Chuck Ragan opened for them. BOTH SICK BANDS. CHECK EM BOTH OUT. In other news, Green Day is about to release a little 3-part-action of albums. Uno, Dos, and Tre. How clever (because the drummer's name is Tre.) Their new single Oh Love is out right nowz. SO GO LISTEN. *Last but not least, Linkin Park's 5th album from the stud - Living Things, is out. Quality new-fangled LP shit, and if you don't like it. I don't care. :D HAVE A HACKIN GOOD TIME. For the fans..

This is it.

Yo, What Time is it? It's Laundry Day! Once Again - I've Been Neglecting The Blog.

Wuddup my bloggahs!!! I was just cruising around the internet like I do every so often (or a lot often mostly because I have no friends or pets) when I realized that ONCE AGAIN I had neglected my blog for an entire year. Now, I don't pretend like anyone reads this shit anyway, but it makes me feel like I am fulfilling my duty as a small spec in the universe when I contribute a thoughtful post into the world of the digital information. Here we are.

* * * What is there to say? Sophomore year was pretty much a dud. Honestly, it sucked ass. Probably the worst school year I've ever had. There are just so many things about teenagers attending a small school in a tiny-ass town that make me question the meaning of life. When you're entire life exists within a 20 mile radius, you begin to notice random shit that is completely irrelivent in contributing to your success, but for some reason they seem really prominent. For instance, why do people feel the need to hyphenate their names? I had two teachers this year with hyphenated names. "So I was doing my homework for Jilian Emery-Smith's class but then I remembered that I also had to write a report for Joan McCormick-O'Neil's class." It just complicates every conversation to no end. ALSO - three of my teachers got pregnant all at the same time this year so for each class, we had 2 teachers. And all of their names started with J. It was SO FUCKING CONFUSING. All I did was complain for about 92% of the time I was at school. I could go into detail about all of the ridiculous shit that happens on a daily basis, but this would be a legitament novel if I wrote in detail about every annoying hipster, wanna-be punk, incompetent human being or soccer-playing ho that I have crossed paths with.

ON A MORE EXCITING NOTE, I've been living in New York City for the past six weeks. DAMN - What a change of scenery from Amherst, New Hampshire. All the way out in cow country. I'll be damned for saying this, but I miss my tiny ass town. NYC is very diverse and full of life. Too much life. Being out here for dance has been a crazy experience that I'll never regeret, but it has just opened my eyes to the types of people that the world is filled with.

>>>>>>hahahhahahahabananahahaha>>>>>>. One day this presumably homeless thug dude came strolling on into Starbucks. All I wanted was to get in there, order my damn iced chai tea latte, and get the hell out. But no - since this is New York City, EVERYTHING has to be a production. This guy comes swaggin' in yelling at everyone to give him money. "Yo, don't yall got a couple bucks to spare? I need some damn food." When nobody says anything (because why would anyone ever give money to an unknown creep yelling like a mental patient) he starts cussing everyone out. "FUCK YOU ALL. I KNOW YALLS GOTS MONEY. YOU CANT SPARE A FUCKIN' DIME, MAN! FUCK ALL YALL!!!" This pissed me off because this dude has NO RIGHT to be bithcing at me about his lack of money when he probably will just piss it away on something gay like drugs or alcohol. Sorry sir, what did you EVER do to deserve my money? Nothing. Nothing at all. So, I'm going to ask you to kindly hop OFF. The Starbucks employees eventually escorted him out of the establishment, but I'm gonna be honest. Bums piss me off.

My roommates are all around my age. Oh, how naive teenage girls can be. Everytime we pass a small dog, without fail, they both say "AWWWW OH MY GOD ITS SO CUTE" in unicine. Every. Damn. Time. We see these dogs like 4 times a day. Everytime they say "I JUST WANT TO HOLD ONE OMGOMGOMGOMGOGM" STFU. please. They have the same kind of reaction when we pass a homeless person. "I just feel so bad for them! Look, they have a dog with them! It must be starving. I bet that's their only friend." BITCH, you're getting jewed by a homeless person. THAT'S THE POINT OF THE DOG. Let's be honest for a second. They don't give a shit about the dog because one day, there is a dude holding a sign sitting next to a dog. The next day, there is a woman holding the same damn sign, in the same place, with the same dog. They're trying to jew you, my friends. The world is full of crooks, man. But hey, not everyone is bad. Some people do work hard and deserve a little bit of help. But those people don't come around as often as you would like to think.

Chew on THAT!

Now that I've left you with loads of deep and meaningful shit to ponder the next time you're slacking off while you work the deep fryer at McDonalds, you can thank me internally and carry on with your day. <3 much love, internet fiend.

I Think I'm Turning Japanese - I.E. My Spanish Substitute Looks Like Jack Black

HELLO. BLOG. COMMUNITY. I hate to admit it, but I've been neglecting my blog for the past year. And my friend just decided to start her own blog approximately 20 minutes ago. Then it hit me. . . The reason my life has felt empty for the past 13 months is because I forgot about my blog. That big void in my soul is now filling up.
Just kidding because ACTUALLY this past year has been the most kick-ass year I have ever had. Ever. So suck it.
Man, so much weird shit has happened recently. I don't know where to start.

Hmmmmmmm.....

WELP for starters: This hurricane Irene...... What the hell? Kids around here seemed to think that roofs were going to be swirling about the sky while they got sucked into a mass of ocean water. New flash kiddos: We live on the inlands of New Hampshire. We are not even close to a body of water. Please calm the hack down.
On another note, I saw the Blink-182 & My Chemical Romance concert via the Honda Civic Tour this past month in Mansfield, MA. August 9th, actually. Travis Barker rocks harder than anyone I've ever seen. Like honestly, shady ass haircut, Travis. We WILL get married, you just say the words. I'm there. And anyone who doubts this can take Trav's left drum stick and beat it.

You know, I used to have this uncanny ability to sit down for 2.5 seconds and automatically write funny shit. I'm really not feeling it. Somebody help me out here. What should I talk about?

OH. Well, I mean, this could be something. Over the summer, I was forcedly sent to a Jesus camp at the rectory... I.E. the priest's house. Yeah, weird. Good thing I'm not a little boy. Anywho, I spent 4 days listen to kids my own age make surprisingly intelligent points about the meaning of life and why bad things happen and where we all came from. All very interesting. And to that, I say.

BULL.TWINKIES.

Sorry kids, as much as I want to hear about how much you love Jesus, I really couldn't care less. He's never talked to me, never even invited me up for tea. Until that day, I salute you all for trying. But I don't see any of you having tea with Jesus either. Take. That.

Today I had this substitute for spanish who looked EXACTLY like Jack Black. I think it was Jack Black. What I don't understand is 1) Why Jack Black would huck it all the way to the East coast to teach a bunch of nimrod sophomores and 2) Where my teacher would be when it's only the 3rd day of school. Like, you can't be sick already, Kim, GOD. Where do you have to go? No meetings, everyone else is teaching. I bet she was ditching. Wouldn't blame her if I had a class as nit-witted as us. But I think we're pretty damn funny, so until the day that I become a Spanish 3 teacher, be "ousente" as much as you want, Kim.

Some Important Dates You'll Wanna Write Down

BLOG! I still think blog is one of the strangest words I've ever heard. Anywho, I don't have much to say. But I thought I'd fill this up with IMERITIVELY important dates in the month of May. I'm listening to that Jay-Z song, Young Forever. If you listen to it, you'll probably say "Wow, that sort of sounds like Forever Young!" Congratulations! Jay-Z successfully ripped off another song and is making millions of dollars. That takes talent to not get arrested in the process. So...
MAY 7- My half birthday

MAY 9- Mother's Day... and the art show in which I am featured at our town library

MAY 10- My best friend's 14th birthday

MAY 13- Marilyn Manson's album "The Golden Age of Grotesque" will have been out for 7 years

MAY 15- Linkin Park's album "Minutes to Midnight" will have been out for 3 years

MAY 26- Marilyn Manson's album "The High End of Low" will have been out for a year

MAY 29- Some short kids' birthday named Jimmy

Those are the note-worthy May-vents that will be taking place. So, that's about it. I'll share a little secret with you. I'm thinking about maybe crashing the Oprah show this week and giving myself a small timeslot on her show in which I will interview Oprah. Tell me what you think. It could go over extremely well.

PS. I just decided to start managing my blog and I discovered I have comments! So comment it up! And I will respond.

Back To Blogging. How Bout That Last Song?

HELLO Blogger community. GEE, it is refreshing to be bloggin' right now. What's better than sitting at the laptop on an 85 degree day whilest rocking out to Aerosmith? A lot. But it's what I'm doing. Ooooooooo there is just SO much I can talk about that I do.not.know. where to begin. Well, let's start off with some announcements. *EHEM*
16 YEARS AGO TODAY... April 5, 1994 Kurt Cobain was found dead :( Take a moment.
Yesterday twas Easter. I hope you all ate some good food and... went to Church. Or for the non-Christ-ees, you had a rockin' weekend.
John Lennon's birthday is this Thursday, April 8. Aaaaaand I think that's all...
WELP. I was watching Mary Poppins yesterday. I never fully understood it all until yesterday with the homeless Tuppens lady that's got the pigeons shitting on her. It's a bit sad. But I couldn't stop laughing at this joke...
"I met a man the other day who had a wooden leg named Smith."
HA. A wooden leg named Smith. That's rich. Oh, I kill myself.
Now, would someone PLEASE tell me about Smiley Miley's new movie with my friend's new heart-throb Liam Whatshisface, The Last Song. According to a certain dramatic best friend whose name rhymes with Assie (Love YOU!), it was soooooooo sad but reaaaaaally good for Miley. And all of the popular chicks said it made them see Miley in a whole different perspective. Obviously, we really share the same interest in movies so I totally took their word for it ;). Exact quote from my friend.
"How was The Last Song?"
"OH my god, it was sooo good. Well, you would have hated it, but it was soooo good."
Awesome! Has ANYONE else seen Kate Gosselin on Dancing With the Stars? She doesn't even look like good ol'-mommy-Kate anymore. She's like Mary-Kate Olsen with eight kids! What does she do with the poor youngins while she's away being a celebrity? Aiden's a smart boy, I think he'll be able to carry on. It's that Joel I'm worryin' for man. I'm worryin'. He looks a little shaky, I dunno about that one.
Undoubtedly, opening day for the Boston Red Sox was a HUGE ass deal at my New Hampshire middle school. Neil Diamonds old but still kickin'. He's still gettin' it done. And Steven Tyler, well what can you even say. It's Steven Tyler. Even if he sucks, you still have to like it.
APRIL FOOL'S DAY-2010. How was it? The best prank we had was my buddy Pags pulling one the day after the first of April. Breaking a blood capsule in her mouth? and spewing bloody everywhere. And we bought it. Genius. Anyone have a good topic of which I may speak on? I'm running dry. There's been practically NO hilarity in Hollywood these days. Save for what I find to be extremely funny.... Lady GaGa. Yes, I am a Lady-Hater. But that new video for Telephone... holy. moly. I commend her for making fun of herself about the whole Lady GaGa has balls thing. That was good. But I mean, sunglasses made of cigarettes. Damn, girl. How are you even seeing through those? Aren't they, I don't know, burning out your retinas? Or giving you eye cancer? I mean, THAT is some bad ass stuff. Walking around, draped in chains. OH MY GOD she should just be put in county jail for.ev.er. Shit. Why does everyone enjoy being bad lately? If your not smoking something, or wearing black and chains, or lookin' like GaGa, you're just passe. And I am totally okay with that. Nerds unite. Welp, that's all folks. Just remember... Billie Jean. Is NOT my lover.

I May Not Be A Spelling Bee Champ, But I'm Still Buzzing

PS I never did get into the spelling bee. I mispelled grenade. I can't even fathom what a STRAIGHT word that was to get out on. It's just such a difficult word! By the way, February 8- Phoenix of LP's birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX!
Februray 11- Mike Shinoda and Caleb Turman's birthdays.
HAPY BIRTHDAY MIKE SHINODA! (And Caleb)
Okay, I have to say something about this. It's been buggin me. WHAT IS UP with this Ke$ha chick. Are you supposed to.... say the dollar sign or is it a clever version of an "S". I just don't know. Considering she's a mix of Lady GaGa and all the other pop-garbage that has ever roamed the airwaves, I don't care that much. I just have to wonder, how many times can a label put out the same thing until it's a joke. Until Ke$ha came along. Steven? Listen to THAT one and see what I mean. That's all I'm saying. And Elton John, why'd you do it man?

Alright, This Is Getting Ridiculous

I've secretely been trying to become the biggest internet celebrity to hit the web, but ILYJUSTINBIEBER is totally beating me out on twitter.
http://twitter.com/lpkidd
follow if you will.
I hope I get to meet Justin Bieber so I can call him a stupid girl and knock him out. I haven't blogged in a while mostly because I've run out of things to blog. But I'm back and better than ever. WHAT!
ONE of those things you really wish was video-taped:
My friend and I walk into music class. The amp and mic are plugged in... and no teacher to be found. One kid is screaming into the mic and making it screech, there are two kids beating up another kid with xylaphone mallets, Cam found Incredible Hulk hands and is punching everything in sight. Meanwhile, the chinese girl is playing Chopsticks on the piano. Now they are fighting over the microphone, Cam is punching the life out of that chair in the corner, and poor Mikey is screaming for help because he had a mallet stuck in his ear. And the Chinese girl hasn't been disturbed through any of this and continues to play. Good class? yeahh.
"Why is the rum always gone?" that's what I'd like to know.

You're one-and-only favorite blog writer is now the National Spelling Bee CHAMPION! Not really, but I'm getting there. Today I jokingly volunteered to try my hand at spellin' some of those there words. And I ended up being one of the four kids on my team to go on to the next level. If I win the nationals, unlikely but possible, I'll throw my trophy and say "This was a joke. I don't deserve to win. SHINODA!" I've got the speech and everything. I got to play with blocks in science class today. Today, January 13, 2010, in Mrs. Chestnutt's Eighth grade science lab, the memories of kindergarten came flooding back. The good french toast sticks and the coloring and the papercuts and band aids and whiny kids. Hasn't changed much except for teachers just yell at you and send you to the nurse when you get a paper cut. It still hurts just as much!
In gym today some mega d-nozzle goober decided that he twisted his ankle during the middle of a "non-competative" volleyball game and just lays down and gets all pissy. Come on you poop! Take it like a man! You're eight feet tall and are obviously fine because I SAW YOU lay down on the floor. I HATE when people do crap that has the potential to be funny but just isn't because they just want attention. Grrrr.
I'm trying to convince the school guidance counselor that I have bipolar disorder and that I'm dislexic and try to tell my parents too but NO ONE BELIEVES ME. (and i swear i am). If anyone else who reads this thinks they have a disorder but no one believes them, shoot me an e-mail because i am TOTALLY here for you/... {hoopsandyoyofreak@yahoo.com}

Aight Aight Aight... F The Haterz

Heyyyoooooo! Hey! What? TURN IT OFF! Dad, this is the best part!
Michael Jackson- Black Or White. If you haven't heard it, A. youtube! or B. "X" out... now.
Happy 2010. We're in the 21 century, shouldn't we have flying cars and be living like the Jetsons already? Let's pick up the pace here people. I haven't much to say. I've covered all the ridiculous shit that's happened. Balloon boy. MJ. Miley Ray Cyrus Hope Freedom what's-her-name. A local teacher from the next town over robbed two banks. Awesome. Nothing out of the ordinary really. I've been getting a few "complaints" about my last few blog posts being lame and long and whatever other L word there are. Just here to say, I couldn't care less and F the hataz. If yah don't wanna read it, don't read it but don't complain to me about it. :-) Like I always say, and QUOTE me on this when I'm dead and make me a sta', the only person that can waste your time is you. Actually, I've never said that in my life.

Merry Flippin Christmas And A Happy New Year!

Hello!!! How was the holidays? Holidays in my family are a recipe for disaster. Well, I bought myself a couple of CD's, 21st Century Breakdown and Dangerous. While taking the plastic wrapping off, I impaled my mother with a Green Day CD. The corner hit her on the ankle bone. Well, my bad. My family decided to break out all the German traditions this year, tirbuted to Uncle Herb, so we opened presents on Christmas Eve. Once everyone was hammered and loopy, dinner was over and we were on the phone with Uncle Rick, discussing what it would be like if our family won the lottery and got our own TV show. I "played Santa" this year, and by the end, I was tearing paper off to get to the bottom of the pile. My brother got three packs of microwaveable Chow Mien and five packages of underwear. I got five pairs of socks and a lot of Michael Jackson and The Beatles stuff. Bro has this *brilliant* idea.
"NEW GAME! How about, everytime someone opens a present, you do a shot."
That worked REALLY well. Haha, after a night of non-stop Carpenters, everyone had had enough so we went to bed. On Christmas Day, we drove down to Connecticut. There is NO place like home. We get to my Aunt Jay's house, and my second cousins Marisa and Tyler and my cousins Chris and Micky were there along with the whole Brizz gang. Jay, Larry, mom, dad, Mike, me, Fran, Kev, Eric, Jack, mem, and Steve. Steve shared awesome stories with us about his hairy back and how Nair works so well. Wow, thanks. I really needed to know that. My brother and Steve were gettin to Marisa real well because they kept calling her goth and she was FREAKING out. Calm down, sparky. They're just being themselves. Marisa precedes to tell me about her boyfriend. Her parents think he's gay because his name is Alexis, his favorite color is purple, and his favorite movies are Mean Girls and The Notebook... Sounds straight to me! ;-) Micky was loading up on the drinks. Rather than rum and coke, she was going for vodka and coke, which turned into vodka with a shot of coke. By the end of Christmas, everyone was cursing and so drunk, they could've given Mem a heart attack. The next day was Aunt Fran's birthday. We decided to go to the mall, so we swung by Aunt Jays to pick up Jay, Marisa and Micky. The mall was freakin' packed, but we trailed along, dragging Micky in all of her hungover glory along with us. Drunk people are really funny. But when your entire Christmas is bombarded with alcoholics, it's really unerving. Haha, after shopping for four hours, we went out to dinner for Aunt Fran's birthday. It was an extreme task trying to scope out a joint that would seat 17 people, we now had Jen and Dean joining us. We found a place and everyone meets up. This PAINSTAKINGLY long dinner consisted of me and Marisa simultaneously texting, the bro and I exchanging akward glances, and Steve shooting me weird looks I couldn't decipher. I looked over to the other end of the table and Steve goes "Jenn, turn your head. I don't want to tell you this" and continues to tell a story inappropriate for anyone my age. He also called me a redneck or something, but I've stopped processing what the druken idiot says about three years ago. He was going to take Mike and Ty out after dinner and says "That's it! I'm not touching anymore of these damn kids! I took Eric out, and got in trouble for that! Then I took Jaclyn out to get her belly button pierced and almost got in BIG trouble for that! No more" With that, he ends up taking Mike and Ty and even when Mike is supposed to drive, Steve takes the wheel and all the parents are going ballistic. Yep, that's a holiday with my family if I've ever had one. How was your holiday? If you have any great fantastic stories, I'll be glad to post them. God knows, I'm running out of things to post. You can only say so many things about your freakin' crazy family. Peace out!

Thanksgiving Was Great. And How About This Twitter Craze?

You ever read something that you wrote and think it's really hilarious. Well, I do and I just have to share.
"November 17, 2009
Heyo!! Dude, in contemporary 4-5 we learned a four minute Turkey-Jam in less than two hours. It's probably the best holiday themed dance ever choreographed. The Pat-Y-O Workshop was WICKED t.s.n.y. I think Pat-Y-O is a J-BreeZ fan. :-P My birthday was also wicked great. I got a ton of money and some sick stuff and the LINKIN PARK ROAD TO REVOLUTION DVD/CD. Sully says I'll be getting my present from... PJ MACWILLIAMS BON BON soon. What a name. Haha. We get to go to Connecticut fo' T-Giving. Way better than the nerdbombed celebration of '08. That had "gay" written all over it. But I love it down in Thomaston, so this should be fun. G'night!"

That Thanksgiving turned out to be the most entertaining holiday of all time. The Brizz Fam gets crazier by the season. As my bro says, he got to see the loving, caring family that would all get together and pray before they eat. I get the family where everyone shows up drunk and yelling, and just cackle when g-ma is the only one saying grace. Oh lord, what a generaton gap. Hah, one of my personal favorite scenarios of the weekend:
Steve (cousin): "Well, thanks mom. I'm about to head out. Let me just grab some booze before I leave." (Grabs a full bottle of vodka.)
Mike (brother): "Steve, you are a sh*tty human."
Steve: "Don't worry. I'll return it tomorrow... Empty."
Awesome. Gotta love the family. According to my mem' and her ever-decayin memory, she was a great dancer when she was younger and could put both her legs behind her head. Yeah, okay gram. She's crazy.
WE die when love is dead. We lost a dream we never had.
~LOVE.IS.DEAD [tokio hotel]
We had UN LATE START today! Who doesn't love an extra two hours of sleep? No one! With the exception of people who don't like them.
I think Twitter is really entertaining. Not just because I can publicize the best blog EVER and not to mention... my website:-) but because it shows how ridiculous people are and how much some kids need attention. Today, I just discovered after having a twitter for... 7 months now? that if you click @lpkidd or whatever your name is, it shows all the tweets that are replied to you. WHOA. I read them and almost all of them were girls from school.
"Heyyyyyyyyy follow me?????????"
"Hey sista. follow me!"
"whoa, you're on here?!? follow me!"
The only person I'm gonna follow out of all of those is the one who said,
"HEYY! I didn't know there were any other average people on here."
Take that, chikas. QUOTE ME ON THIS, IT WILL BE FAMOUS. A person is not defined by the number of followers they have, but by the quality of their tweets. Thank you. And good night.

I Like Yelling "SHINODA!" While Reading Phoenix Tweet About Tiger Woods

Alright Tiger, what's the story? Can we not drive 10 feet from our house without upsetting half the women in America? I mean really, not bad enough that he'd been doing this for so long, but he's the only black golfer in America. Tiger's wife got an offer for a golf club line that you can beat Tiger Woods with. :-) My hero right now is Phoenix from Linkin Park (the bass player) for tweeting this joke to the Twitter community. What's the difference between Tiger Woods and Santa? Santa stops at three ho's. What a slap in the face. Haha I love to yell "SHINODA" every chance I get. My friend saw him on the Grammy Award Nominee show, texts me: "SHINODA! Turn the Grammy's on!". At school I just say SHINODA in the hallways. It's more than good. It's grrrreat! Today, I went and baked cookies for the needy at the church. It was a freakin' bucket of fun. In all seriousness, it was pretty fun. There were some kids from my school there and I dragged one of my buddies there and we were kicking cookie ass. We definetly beat the high schoolers. But we had that thing goin on where there was this group of kids that did NOT look at all like they were in eighth grade. So we looked on the sign in sheet and they were. I think maybe they lied... or got held back? I'm not judging. My spidey-sense was tingling, that's all. I hope you're enjoying the blog and if you're a true brizztidbits fan, you'll jump on the SHINODA craze.

Oh Winter. The Worst Point Of The School Year, Fuzzy Socks and Christmakwanzuka (Winter Solstice)

Happy December! Winter, to me, is THE worst part of the year. And as luck will have it, I'm landed in the section of the United States where winter is longer than most of the other seasons. Awesome. Even though we get a lot of vacation days and snow days away from school, I think it's the worst part of the school year besides March. Winter at school is when you discover what the year will truly be like. It's when teachers pile on the projects that count for 200% percent of your grade and give you three days to do it. Are you passing math, because I believe 200% would be your grade in two trimesters. Tricky. Plus, you find out who the kids are that you TRULY despise and who you should stick to in your classes. People's dark sides come out, trust me. My favorite confidence-wrecker is when kids are like "oh man, I'm just so good at this subject" then recieve a progress report and it has a big fat F for FAILURE of it. Classic. Why just the other day in math (my FAVORITE subject *roll eyes unappreciatively) a boy goes "Ah, I'm so good at math" to himself. After correcting the homework, he precedes to ask the teacher if she can put numbers 5-18 on the board. The assignment was 5-25. 7 right. Yeah, you're just a freakin' genius. Also, winter is when our first report cards come out, and there's always a couple of the slackers that come out with B's. How does that happen. We should all just stop trying and we'll succeed in life. THIS BLOG HAS THE SECRET TO LIFE. If you don't try, you will succeed. Simple as that. Some good things about winter would be the fact that you can wear all the slammin' fuzzy socks you want and not have heat stroke. I am a HUGE fan of socks, so this is a big deal for me. Next time you want to wish someone a winter greeting, don't take the chance of offending any religion and say Happy Christmakwanzuka Winter Solstice. It combines Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Winter Solstice all together. It's a fool proof way of bringing holiday cheer. LOL(Lots.Of.Love) ~ your favorite blog writer :-)

Teachers Really Do Hate Students. And Aids Don't Even Have A Purpose. They're Like Teachers... But Not

Hello world!!!!!!!!!! How is my favorite blog-reading community today? It twas a great day today, aside from all of the boring-butt teachers who are only concerned with teaching long enough to get a pension. I SWEAR that some people only become lunch monitors and aids to be rude to kids and get away with it.
For one thing, my that teacher today is totally hunky dorky with this kid who is freaking the flip out about Santa Clause and pretending to shoot people. But yet if I tell him to "shut up" or "put a sock in it", I'm suddenly the criminal. Okkkkay.
At lunch today, it was several of my friends birthdays, so my buddy Flip brought in Chinese food for just our table to eat. We were having a grand ol time, flaunting our asian-induced goodness, when some lunch monitor comes over.
"I want to eat at THIS table! Whose birthday is it?"
The woman was OBVIOUSLY begging for food. Look lady, you get to cut any and all the students you want in the lunch line every day of the year, and they also hold special and wayyyyy better food for you people. Don't come prying our once a year treat off our table. Yah' jerk.
Aids don't even do anything. They just walk around and bug kids and break coffee mugs all up in the hallways. I'm walkin' here!!! Haha, really, they can't even give you the correct steps on how to do something if you ask for help.
THIS ONE is my personal favorite. All you adults that say that you always handle things better than children and are fair and nice...... suck on this. I am standing in the snack line buying a half filled, overpriced bag of New* healthy baked Lays chips, when I see a group of kids heading outside to at least get two minutes of fresh air before our 22 minute lunch is over. I then hear a mean aid say to another mean aid "I'll wait until they just get outside" and they smirk at eachother. SMIRK!!! Sure enough, as soon as one kid pushed the door open, the woman blows her obnoxious whistle. And she laughs. That's so rude, I cannot even fathom it. Don't taunt us with almost getting free from this little detention center and then drag us back in. A few days later, she did that to me and my buds, too. By now, I'm FURIOUS. So I go back to get my apple juice. And, while I'm obviously reaching for it, the same woman picks it up and goes "SOMEONE LEFT THEIR APPLE JUICE!" "Uh, that's mine! Sorry..." I say in the most sarcastic, unappreciative voice I can manage. "Well, thank you." the lady mocks. "Yeah, NO PROBLEMO." And I stormed my way out of the lunch room. That's right. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. That's the moral here. No matter if you're an adult or a kid, you still have to respect other people. That's all for now!!! :-)

Things That Purplex Me Are How Teachers Manage To Give You Chills Just By Looking at You and Why There Would Be A Boy In A Balloon

I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutley hate when teachers just look at you. Especially if you're working and they pretend you can't see them while they're glaring over your shoulder all croweded in your space. Look, I'm not blind. Could you leave me a little room to breathe? Thanks. Or even if you're the best working student ever, and they shoot you "the look" on accident, and you are frozen with shock. Like, "what the eff did I do!". I hate that. Happened at least four times today. God, I think I deserve a little more respect than that. Hahaha today, things are just crazy. Really! Everything now adays is just wacked out. Like that whole balloon boy shinanigans? What is that all about? Oh, and my favortie part of that whole thing is that people are so set on ripping on the fabulous Michael Jackson, that they manage to make more MJ jokes out of it. And they aren't even funny... Just upsetting. (To me). Example... Looks like Michael Jackson was ordering take-out in heaven again.
Wow. Hilarious. Haha those unappreciateve HATERZ. And Lady GaGa. When did she get here? She popped out no where and now shes the avant-garde superstar of the new millenium. No, I think "avant-garde" is the understatement of the century here. She's just freaky. I'm tellin' you, go back and listen to when she was at least PG-13 in her Just Dance song, then go listen to Bad Romance. Ra ra ra ma ma, Ga Ga Oo La La. Really? A second grader could have written a better song. Granted, I love freaky artists and what not, but this is just disturbing to me. But hey, for all you GaGa fans of the world, no disrespect. You have complete freedom and also have total right to call me an ass for dissing her.
NOTE: If any of you have a definition for the word "abariginy", please e-mail be at hoopsandyoyofreak@yahoo.com. THANKS.

Important Priorities Are Respecting All Music Artists and Setting Life Goals

My life goals
~meet Chester Bennington
~meet Mike Shinoda
~meet anyone from Linkin Park
~become a russian male ballerina
~floss

Music artists today are more appauling, shocking and even just pitiful than any of the songs that they could ever cook up. You have everything from Lady Gaga, to Miley Cyrus, to Bon Jovi trying to recreate his late 80's-90's one album success. But as much as you may hate some artists, I think it is still important to respect them. Granted, I did lose a great amount of it for Miley. I guess she was mad that there wasn't anyone in the ice cream truck to sell her a popsicle or something so the only alternative was to pole dance her frustration away. Putting the raunchiness aside, you still have to respect even the most re-verbed, electrically enhanced, horrible artists. You'll never escape it, so just accept it.
